Leave it alone now. Contact her only in regards to the kids. You should know she is not going to give you rational answers or do anything that might be for the benefit of someone other than herself, including the cats
She is right and you are right. I thought the subject deserved the attention though and have no regrets contacting her about it. I won't be contacting her again unless it's an absolute must.
