Either way, I'm a long way off from being detached, unfortunately I'm working on it, though! Full-speed ahead with my GAL!!!!!
It comes with time, it's hard to rush detachment! Stick with your GAL and be patient, both with H and with yourself.

I also took down a few of our pics that were bothering me.
A lot of people here take down photos and such, and move furniture around and paint rooms. It helps to make it feel like YOUR place instead of the old marital home.
