As for the bounced check for the mortgage, I'm not surprised. He's already stated that he wasn't going to be paying the mortgage and I guess he wanted to write the check and allow it to bounce as proof that there is no money in the account. I would be watching other accounts to ensure that things are being paid regularly and not be surprised if something is cut off or you get delinquent notices.
