We had such a good time last night. I sure hope the blue spatters came off your clothes..... (I was so excited about Barbs fish net sarong I tried to flick it open, and instead flicked Barb, Josh and myself with a fine spray of blue rinse water. I am like a child!)
My X asked where I knew you from, I said "Internet Friends" and he left it at that. Poor guy, he is a total introvert and I will remind you all my outgoing personality was one of the many personality flaws he hates about me. And none of you know me as well as Barb does now. But picture me typing with a big smile on my face and realize I really did LOL when I read the above post!
I used to be active with a online group called "Tiki Central". I also do pottery and was making/selling tiki bar related stuff. I wrote an article for a tiki related magazine about an infamous local bar called "La Marianas Sailing Club". And when tiki people would come to town we (local tiki people) would meet up with them there. No kidding.
My X did kindly climb up on a chair and use pliers to get a corroded light bulb replaced so we could see on the lanai. (Funny, I have lived here 9 and a half years and the light burns out last night?!?) So here I am, able to be around him, not be bothered by his moving on and just continuing to love life.
The past 2 years have seen some changes in me!
BTW Barb, your daughter is beautiful. I can't wait to see what sort of art she produces. She can come back anytime and do some more intense indigo stuff with me. I don't know where I will be in the future, but there will always be an indigo vat, or 3.
I am still smiling. And yes, I got my Krispy Kream fix today. Offset by two of the crankiest taxicab drivers I have ever met. Maui must be a bad place to drive a cab. Yep, still smiling.
ALOHA! I can't hear you..... A!LO!HA! Much better!
