My last couple of weeks have been so busy. It seems I just go in circles!
I did manage to meet up with Barb and Josh, Whet nice, fun people. They are bringing Ashley over tonight and we are going to do am evening indigo class. There is a bright moon and I think it will work out well. We will report back later on this experiment....
My X is back from his month long trip to the mainland to see OW and our sons. He came home and dropped right back into the place he left. I don't have much to say rto him. I continue to zig when he zags.
I'm hoping soon the house is taken care of so we can finish this tedious untangling of ties.
I did go out and try outrigger canoe paddling the other night on a 6 man crew, Fun! And an Australlian quilter is interviewing me for a magazine next week, So I;m still regaining me!

The house isn't under contract. I had a spate of people interested, but none has moved forward. Frustrating as heck.
Today. yesterday now, I had SunFunOne and her family over and we did "Moonlight Indigo". It was an abbreviated version of my class. We got some spectacular results. I am waiting for some more of you to show up and try fun things with me.
I guess I should try and sleep now. I have a day trip to Maui for my job. And all I can think about is getting a Krispy Kream donut.....

Wow! Meeting Wen for a sunset dinner at Pearl Harbor was great! But to then be invited to her home to learn the fine art of indigo dying was just that - to die for! Her home was in a most enchanting place. We emerged from a tunnel to the most spectacular view. We all participated in preparing shirts & sarongs with different utensils for different results. Ashley (my daughter) had flown in and Wen had her do the dipping by moonlight. Josh & I learned a lot too & took pics & timed the dips. Wen is a most talented lady & she really knows the "Spirit of Aloha". We came home with some amazing clothing pieces. Wen - we washed them & hung to dry & they look fabulous!
It was interesting to also meet Wen's Ex. I told him we were from Canada. I'm not sure he he had any idea how we knew her but just had a bit of a confused look on his face.
Thank you so much for sharing your time & talent with us. Ashley said yesterday was one of the best days of her life. Hope you have safe travels today. We will be there tomorrow. You know - "Here today, gone to Maui"
