It is unbelievable the amount of support you are giving your D right now with her ED. The earlier you intervene, the better the recovery is.
Way too eerie about the article you clipped and the woman that it was meant for. I guess in a way you are an angel, sent to look after this woman? Who knows but it sure makes you wonder how life works, doesn't it?
I know that you posted about your D to me before. I would love to trade notes about ED and find some ways to live with the disorder.

Hey, all, I just got an email from Chilly! She's doing well, happy in a new R (kinda long-distance though) has her house all together and her son is doing great.
D's weight at her official weigh-in this week was 108! Now - some of that's constipation and premenstrual water weight - but I'll take it
Last night we had our weekly family group therapy with the other members of her group therapy and their families - I think my D leaves those meetings really grateful that she has US for parents!
Hi all - Well, things are going reasonably well with my D. I've been reading some books on OCD and it is fascinating the way these disorders are connected (anorexia, OCD, and BDD). My daughter doesn't really have true OCD symptoms but some things come awfully close - for instance, she revealed to me today that she has a bedtime tapping ritual and that she can't go to sleep until she completes it. And her constant appearance checking is because she can never be sure she looks quite "right", even if we tell her she does.
If anybody out there wants to read more on OCD, "The Boy Who Couldn't Stop Washing" by Rapaport is a great book (although the medication discussions are dated).
So good to hear about how things are going w/your D. She certainly is fortunate to have you for a mom. I've been thinking about you. Thank you for the update.
I was wondering if you could stop by my thread when you have time - there is an issue I'm working on that I would really appreciate your input on. You are so supportive of so many here, and obviously those around you at home (amazing story about the Addison's artical and your friend!),so I understand if you don't have time. Thank you~

Thank you, Ellie for your post on my thread. You actually posted there before I could post my questions! Guess I posted to your thread too soon! I really appreciate your suggestions. If you have time, would you mind taking another quick look? Thank you ~
