Jen -
so glad to hear from you!
I posted to you on your thread too.

Sorry to hear about the ski trip!! Was it snow skiing? A girl's w/e sounds just heavenly!! Oh well, another day! How long do you have snow for over there? Any chance of squeezing some in before it all melts?

Yup - snowboarding for me. The resort where we take our kids has a very long season - from the end of November until June. We will be taking the kids for a week in April on their school holiday, so I should get some more riding in then at least. H and S12 are going this weekend but D is too weak to go and with her fainting earlier this week, I am worried about how the altitude would affect her.

How is D coping? Looks like she had inherited a great deal of your strengths. It's great that she is able to face this head on and seek the treatment required.

Well, I wouldn't exactly say she's seeking treatment- she's still pretty resistant, and pretty sneaky. But she's at least cooperative enough to go. You know, it's kind of like the kid who gets really mad at you for setting limits, but is secretly relieved that you set them? I think she feels safe railing at me because she knows I won't give up on her. (hey, does that sound like anybody's alien spouses out there? )
