My son has OCD's.they were triggered by a bout of strep throat.strep can cause a person who has a family history of ocd's.So If you are sure your child has ocd's it is very important to make sure that she get's checked for every sore throat.It can make it worse withevery bout of strep.Most people are not told that strep can trigger ocd's.So ask you doctor if you should watch out for this.
I also fought anoreia as a teen.I never new there was a connection.But I can see how that could be. I fought from the age of 16 to the age of 18.It was a hard battle.My family could not do it for me.they did there best to control it. But in the end it was my battle.I can tell you love your daughter.You will be able to see her through this. Please if you can not get her to eat.Get her to take a calcium supplement.And Vitimin D.if you can. I have bone loss. I have ostiopinia the beginning of ostoprosis.And Iam only 39.This is a very tough thing to battle. But withthe love and support you are giving her she will come out of this ok.
