I am so sorry you have to deal with this problem with your daughter. It's a fear I have with my D of eight. She started being looks conscious years ago - she loves dressing up and already gives me advice on what to wear etc!
I am sorry I can't be of much help to you as I have no direct experience of the problem, thank goodness.
I am swamped by my own situation at the moment and hardly post on other threads...
