Gloomy day, very depressing, I've already cried this morning and all I want to do is sleep. What I need to do is pack up Christmas and put stuff on Ebay. My brother gave me a box of new items from his store that should fetch a good price.

Well, I took the cat to the vet,got a burger (grease is good for the soul!), packed up Christmas (except the tree, I lost the box?), and watched some tv with D. I'll get more done tomorrow.
It's still gloomy but just getting out and moving around has helped.

Weather man says gloom and rain through tomorrow. I can't wait for Spring and longer days. I'm not doing well with the dark days, last winter was like this and it didn't help H or me with the depression.
I'm going to finish putting boxes up and clean some.

Boxes up and carpets being cleaned! Got to find a good book to read tonight. Something light and funny. I never make resolutions but I think I'll make some this year and see how well I do.

H just called D for the first time since Christmas Day. Couldn't remember half of what he was trying to say. I've been reading the archives off and on today about MLC, his situation become clearer to me with every thread I read. Becoming the opposite, my old H wouldn't go a day without calling D if he was traveling. If he was coming home after her bedtime he'd come in and kiss her goodnight.
His memory is shot. He was always the king of trivia and could quote tons of history, and people at work would call him to ask questions instead of looking it up. Now he can't remember what he was going to ask his D on the phone. He ummmmm and hmmmm'd before he remembered what he wanted to say.
As for me I got my carpets cleaned except my bedroom, Christmas is put up, and I'm menu planning.

I find it strange that H was telling D all the places they would go this weekend and that he had bought fireworks for them when he was telling me a few days ago he wasn't sure he'd be able to give me support this month. Guess I need to go back to believing nothing he says and half of what he does?

Oh and we've heard from H again. Do they disappear for a while and then make contact like that a lot? Strange to not hear from him for 6 days and then a couple of days of several times of contact a day. Weird.

Sure they can disappear and then make contact again and some even have spurts of communication and then go quiet once again. It's normal mlc behavior.
When he does make contact, listen to what he has to say. Sometimes they tell on themselves w/o even trying. LOL!
Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
