Oh man my team is in more trouble than yours, but I cant lie, its been a pretty good run this last 35 years. Go Steelers!
Actually today will be the first time in 17 years I've missed a game (directv season ticket, and been to a few games when they make it to the west coast).
I also admit this is something I need to do. I need to change my life around, get out of the same routine a bit. Changes are a happening, right?
You sound like you have a much better grasp on the situation 2th. Hang in there buddy, listen, validate, and when it hurts the most, trust the process.
Steelers eh? My ex is a steelers fan. I've watched my share of steelers games and ya, your team was hurting this year.
Changes are good, but some routines for me offer comfort. Sunday morning breakfast with the guys is a tradition I won't change any time soon. My ex still comes to these breakfasts. It's weird but normal at the same time.
I have a decent grasp because I've spent years working through this. It still hurts but I know no one knows the future. I find comfort knowing that things always work out, or at least bounce back. The universe needs to be in equilibrium. Lows become highs and vice versa unfortunately.
Go cowboys!!
