So I got off work and went down to Hickam Harbor. Got out on the water and the new board was all that and more. I was able to spend WAY more time standing up. The wind picked up at the end and I did sit down. But it was pretty amazing. Huge difference between the boards. My old one is still good for super flat days and for actually surfing. Which I am not really good at. I don't catch waves, they catch me!
Sounds like a fun day. I have fond memories of Hickam Harbor, Hickam Beach and also Mamala Bay Golf Course . Was stationed at Hickam from 91 to 95.
