hi and so, didja have a good c hristmas? hope so. you sure have the pma conquered. took a page from your book and enjoyed whtever i found yesterday. began good - had one tiny period of OH - MY - GOD - (everyone coming in a few hours and nothing is ready -eeeeeeek) and then got on with it- h helped ALOT, (and on his own !!) and then my two neices showed up and with all that help we had a great "feast" and everything got done and ready.
first time i really just spent some time foolin aroud havin fun in a.m. (doughnuts at sisters w/ company, etcA) and didn't get right down to cookin, etc. and then REALLY DID NEED HELP BADLY- AND THEY PITCHED IN. a teeny christmas miracle- but saved the day for me . soooo - just when ya think you're goin down, someone throws a line... i'm keepin a good thought..
silly stuff - but maybe a "message"? i gotta quit feelin all alone all he time. surprising little assistance here and there - and need to remember that some people are "out there" and sometimes you can find them and get some reinforcement.-i need to take note & be a little fortified by the thought.
only ten people extra around- but our smallish house was pleasantly stuffed downstairs and everyone had fun and mingled and talked and had a good time very darn companionable day - all things being considered. the crowd was nice. with one neice in the navy and mhy cousin & famly not usually around - this was waaaay better than just family and usual squabbles & too-familiar interactions! yay...
even my mother called later to say what a nice time and glad she came over (!!!))) and WHOLE CONVERSATION was upbeat & pleasant- eeeeek. another miracle- day was full of them.
i spent alot of time running after the baby - she is so darn cute you could die- and good natured. we definitely bonded- wish they lived closer. anyway she srue makes me laugh every five minutes - very very good evening, and not just those three glasses of wine.....
i guess tht's it for me- idk why christmas & new year seem sooooo "pivotal" in life. lets hope the new year is a waaay better one for us all. xxoo .
