Candlelight service was awesome. Reminded me that we all have the opportunity to start fresh. It's a time for new beginnings. I was proud to be there starting a new tradition with my boys. W went too.
First time my children have taken communion as well. Nice to teach them what that sacrament means. Especially this time of year. As we left church, are entire downtown area was lit with luminaries that our local churches had put out. Literally, the road was lined on both sides for about 2 miles. Another great reminder of what the lights at Christmas mean.
Merry Christmas will always mean more to me after tonight. I think maybe I finally got the message of the season for the first time in 39 years.
