Peace has finally reigneth in this house, my son has gone to bed We've had a great day today, been really busy, watching TV, playing board games, eating, going to church, watching a DVD, though not necessarily in that order I survived my first Christmas without H and not one tear was shed Call me hard faced if you want, I call it inner strength I was able to do Christmas how I wanted to this year - I could roast the parsnips with the potatoes, I could make homemade gravy, I didn't have to make yorkshire puds because H doesn't eat veg. We had Breakfast in our dressing gowns watching the TV, We had clockwork penguin races at lunchtime out of our crackers, we didn't have a massive buffet at night, I didn't overfill my plate and leave some on it. Lots of new traditions this year I made our Christmas special and my son was pleased to spend time with me and didn't get bored We were too busy to get bored, lol. My mum bought me a bottle of champagne, I've been slowly drinking it throughout the day and still got some left in the bottle I might or might not be able to finish the rest before I go to bed hehe
