Me 14 months on, affair confirmed, someone new?

Ha ha, got the old comment on the phone last night, "don't you dare buy me a present". Thank goodness I didn't as Santa did.

What I like about DB is how I can be so much more relaxed over things that happen/don't happen. Being Christmas festive time, she is on 2 weeks holidays, we are just starting a relationship and her kids happily go to their dad's every 2nd week. You could think that things aren't going well. I could, the old me, feel very let down if she didn't want to see me one of the days, or didn't contact as much or even get the hint to go. But I simply know that it is a very busy time, she needs to spend holiday time with her kids, the 2nd week the kids are at their dad's and we are building ourselves up to something more. It is great having the better self esteem to not blame yourself or put yourself down for everything that happens.
