Wow thanks GALbaby. Appreciate your comments. Yes, where did the year go. While out shopping today, the W texted, stating why no reply about the solicitor letter. Anyway, a nice text back stating my solicitor is viewing the letter early in the new year and then added have a lovely xmas and holiday. Don't need to argue or get upset about anything.
Did buy the present: a funny giraffe ceramic, tickets and meal vouchers for the gold class cinema, an 80's hits cd (she loves the 80's) and a baseball cap with the propellor on top. Why the hat you ask? Well for her birthday in March, a friend of ours who flies the Virgin planes also has a helicopter licence. So he is hiring a copter for that day and taking us up. Since the new lady likes to dress the part for the occassion, I told her a hat with a propellor would be part of it. So the present includes: a joke (the hat), slight romantic gift (the voucher for the cinema), something nice that I remember about her (80's music) and a loony gift that can mean something unique to her (the giraffe). All up about $200. But who cares, it is simply so much fun and exciting as well.
