Thank you for stopping in and saying such nice things to me!
I have been busy with 2 major projects, for me, for fun that I've undertaken recently.
I'm very excited about them, and have been off planning instead of posting here.
Don't think I've forgotten about y'all cause I'd never do that!
Lol!
One of my projects is to take my back yard and build a labyrinth.
Yesterday I went out there to clear the area, thinking I could get started. I quickly saw how much trash is out there from the previous owners...I'll have several hours work just getting the trash out of that one area.
It's a bunch of little things, peices of ceramic, bits of cloths, bits of plastic. Nothing big ...but still annoying!!
For those who don't know about labyrinths, they are used for 'walking meditation'. Some people start with a question in mind and walk the labyrinth with the intention of receiving an answer from their Deity of Choice.
I've walked a labyrinth twice in my life...both times were very profound experiences. I'm so excited about having one in my own back yard!
It's a big project, but it gives me a wonderful reason to get outside and exercise.
My husband keeps adding to the positives!
I've found a little notebook that I post in daily. I use color sparkly pens and love doing it. It's a sort of journal.
He called me up this morning to ask me if I had recieved the phone message he left for me last night. In the phone message he told me that he 'missed me terribly and couldn't wait to come home and snuggle with me in bed' he also told me to go to bed early and not wait for him to get home.
So sweet!
I told him that his phone message was definately going into the positives notebook.
He told me he loves doing things for me and having them go into the notebook!
Then he told me he was wearing his wedding ring today!
Woo hoo!
I look forward to the day that he wears it every day!
He says the reason he doesn't wear it at night is because when he wakes up, his hands are swollen and the ring hurts him. And he doesn't usually remember to put it on when he gets up for the day.
Wonderful baby step for him to call me up and tell me he was wearing it!!
