Met my friend for a coffee this afternoon. I also managed to say about how busy I was this year, as I've got to do everything myself. I mentioned about that Sunday and she said yes we were both a bit off that day. I just let it go but I thought what a cheek! lol.

So you got the meeting up with your HM friend out of the way.

We caught the bus and went for some lunch, then we went to the bargain shop and I managed to get all my shopping in there Result! I met my friend for a coffee, but didn't stay long. I went to the card shop and the post office and did a bit more shopping. Phew! I've got presents to wrap later ready to send out tomorrow. Another busy day tomorrow, but at least we get to have some fun I'll update you all tomorrow

Well done. It really feels good once all shopping and wrapping is done. My son and I will be wrapping our presents for my dad and my son’s present to his dad tonight then we’re completely done. I just have a cards for some of my co-workers to do and that will be done as well.

My H keeps insisting that he's getting me this book that I don't want.

Is it coming from him or your son? If it's from him, I'd say that is a small positive for you. I highly doubt my H is getting me anything from him this year, and I didn’t get anything for him. Why would he get me anything for Christmas, he didn’t get me anything for my birthday and he was supposedly still working on our M at that time.
