Why couldn't H pick D19 up?

Cut a tree in the back forty

Glad to hear of more students :))))

Tell your D19 the truth. You'd be surprised at how kids already know. For example "I love you and always want to see you, but honey it's gonna be pasta this week." How about a job for D19? Part time seasonal

Oh..At the beginning of this all I gave H responsibilities for the kids and didn't remind him. I was done being wifey/mommy.

You also need some time. Does H take D11 at all? It's about time he did, if not.

Thanks Bestie.

H's addiction kinda puts the kabash on his time with the kids. D19 wants nothing to do with him. D11 has Asperger's and, once you've been outta her life for a bit, you have to rebuild that relationship from scratch. I also don't want either of them with him when he drives. I'm not sure how often he is drug-free anymore.

He is living a life where he is single with no kids. I feel resentful but also grateful my kids are spared seeing him like this. They are better off when he is at a distance.

I'm not the only one with a full plate. I know the key is to take better care of myself and learn how to handle the stress. Lots of women juggle lots of stuff these days. My problem is shutting down when I get overwhelmed. I let it rule me.
