Trust you MH, typical bloke, lol. I agree NQ, I feel the same way about H at the mo. Once Christmas is over with my H might go back to being a "monster" again frown I feel this is why I need someone at the mo as well, someone who will hold me through the bad times as well as the good smile Mind you, that's taking on my baggage and he may not want to do that! Ok so a girl's allowed to fantasise, lol.
I was thinking today as I was shopping that I'm 48 now, who's going to want a 48 year old and why couldn't H leave me when I was in my 30s, lol. Oh that's right he did and then came back! <sigh>

If you're past your sell by date at 48, then I'm in trouble being 50. And yes, we're allowed to fantasize wink!

No problems TTD. There are days when I feel a lot older than 50, but with an 13 year old in the house that doesn't happen very often.

I don't know about you, but roll on menopause. The other option can be a real pain. I'll take the night sweats and hot flashes any day LOL.

Yes I actually can't wait to go on HRT. My friend is on it and she's had no problems with it. It stops you getting emotional and irritable which is what I'm having problems with at the mo. Well not so much the emotional bit, but definitely the irritability part.
I had to stop myself on Sunday from getting irritable with H for critising the decorating. I huffed very loudly instead, lol. He heard as he said "and stop huffing as well" lol.
I've decided what to do with the wall now, I'm going to get some flock wallpaper to put on it. Make a feature wall out of it smile The decorator mentioned it the other day and I said that I'd already thought about it. I'm not going to bother until after Christmas though now.

A feature wall sounds like a fantastic idea. And I'd definitely wait until after Christmas.

My dad was going to wait until after Christmas to replace the toilet in the upstairs loo but when I got home from work yesterday I found half a toilet in my room - the other half was in his room. Apparently it needs to warm up to room temperature before he does any work. It seems he was wandering round the hardware store (guess that's something men like to do LOL) and found one on sale so he bought it. He's spending today replacing the old one. He was holding off on painting the room until he'd done the toilet, so I guess he's going to be painting soon as.
