Lois, If llama's are kept clean and have their clippings done at the right time and properly, they don't smell. It's the spitting that gets you! Just a couple of interesting facts about them, they stand and watch people and animals like guard dogs and they do not do their business all over the field like cows and horses, but find one spot and that's where they go all of the time. We have a number of farms w/those animals in the areas and it appears that the population is growing w/farmers.
