Hi all!

Wow - what support you all gave me for the weekend!

To answer your questions, it was rainy part of each day and cold the whole weekend, but hey, we had a hottub in the corner of the room and a fireplace. There were also indoor pools.

Positives from the family weekend:

1. We had a great time - four squirrelly kids in a Suburban didn't stress out my H or myself. (although on the way home, they were all tired - you know how that can get)

2. My H and I shared the loft, with the kids downstairs - even had one night after they all fell asleep! (Funny that he doesn't want them to know that we share a bed at home, but we did share one up there and they all knew it - including D9's friend)

3. H showed up at the activity room twice - just as we finished up each time. (I kidded him that his timing was impecable!) Then later he took the kids down to the wood-painting time and actually helped S3 and S6 paint theirs! I wandered in and just watched - didn't join in/take over as I usually would.

4. H took the girls and then my S6 out fishing twice. (They caught 4 keepers - Sunnies - on Sat and didn't get anything on Sunday)

5. H went and picked up pizza while I took kids swimming. When order was messed up, he went back and got new order while joking about it.

6. When we got home, he helped put stuff away and then didn't rush off, but helped get kids in the tub and to bed. And we didn't get home until after 8 p.m. so everyone was beat!

7. H made references to future events/things several times, but I didn't raise any attention to that, just let it go on by and reinforced it with my acting "AS IF".

8. H called today to have me take the fish out of the live-well. Then we emailed back and forth this afternoon. He came over tonight, even though we usually don't see him on Mondays and had planned to meet us at the kid's ball practice but it got rained out.

So gang, a weekend away with four kids under 10 and no major stressors. Typical kids stuff, but no stress between us, even though our sitch could have added stress to it - if you get what I mean.

What does it all mean? I have no clue!

Will he come home soon? I hope so and so do the kids!
Does DBing work? You are da$n right it does!

Are you gals (and guys) the greatest for supporting me through all of this! YES!
