I don't mind the flaw being there, it makes the room look rustic As I said on FB ealier, if H went round an old country cottage then he'll be there all day pointing out all the flaws, lol. Just proves to me that he is still in MLC, lol. I'm not going to do anything with it just to annoy H or get a big mirror to hide it. H has never liked mirrors about the fireplace as they remind him of horror movies. As MH says Mwah ha ha ha, lol.
My son wants to reorganize his room so there's a good chance the little flaw there will come out into the open again. It wasn't my choice to hide it - yep, it was H's decision. Maybe you should sell your place and buy a rustic country cottage to really drive your H nuts LOL
