S13 and I finally made it to the Christmas market. We planned to do it last year but last year's plans were to go skating at the outdoor rink, then go up to the market afterwards. By the time we'd done skating we were freezing so didn't go to the market. This year, we went to the market first.
There was a nasty cold wind blowing, which may have kept the crowd down a bit as it wasn't as busy as we'd expected it to be. Lots of little stalls selling all sorts of food, a couple of bier gartens and one stall selling mulled wine - had to pass on that as I drove into the city. Even found one stall selling British chocolates - probably a good thing I didn't have a load of cash on me LOL.
H turned up for his weekly visit yesterday. We did a bit of shopping, H took us for brunch and we finally got our cell phone account split - only an hour on the phone to the provider using the store's phone, plus another half hour in the store doing the contract paperwork. H then spent the whole afternoon and part of the evening setting up my new phone and my son's hand-me-down phone (he got my old one). H even accepted a dinner invite . For the first time in quite a while I didn't get the "isn't it time H was leaving" feeling. Maybe that's because during the whole time I never saw him texting anyone, and the only time I saw him on the phone was when he had to call Apple to help sort out a technical glitch. And on top of that, he also made no stupid or nasty remarks about my dad for a change.
