I know that when I used to work at a school, we only used to work in the morning on TT days and then a lot of the teachers went to the pub at lunchtime. A lot of the time we got speakers come in to train us on special needs, behaviour, etc. When we didn't have speakers we had to do cleaning or tidying the classroom as I was a dinner lady/classroom asst.
I was thinking, if I was you I'd have New Year's Day off as well so you can have a few drinks at New Year smile Do you get bank holidays off as well?
