I opted to order pizza and cinna stix from Dominoes for delivery to my office instead. I had so much leftover that D16 had the same for dinner. It all worked out.
I'm very, VERY ready for this crappy week to come to a close. I take one step forward and 2 steps back. I'm looking forward to a weekend at home to wipe the slate clean. It doesn't help that Mr. W. is in DC until the 20th. So the only person I have here is... me.
As I mentioned on Kat's thread, my great uncle has had an issue with his stent and is now on life support in the ICU back in VA. My dad has always considered him (and his twin brother) as his older brother and seemed bummed this morning that a holiday funeral is a probability. Bummer.
Then this morning, I was getting D16 and myself ready for school. I don't know if it was a seizure or she fainted (her seizures have never taken on this outcome), but her eyes rolled back in her head, she fell forward and whacked her head on the vanity and then crumpled to the floor. When she looked up at me, she was scared and started to cry. I let the school folks know, and if there is any additional episodes like that, I'm calling the neuro quickly. She had been on the toilet, and my WC is very warm. She likes snoozing on the toilet. She got up kind of quickly so I'm not sure if it was an unfortunate sequence of events, but bears watching.
Out of sheer curiosity, what did you spike that French toast with? That's intriguing. Of course, I can't do that and drop D16 off at school and drive to work. It just doesn't go over well with folks to see an affected mom at 7 am!
This weekend I'm going to decorate the tree, take D16 to the coldest hippotherapy session ever, and bake my butt off. I'm ready for that.
Ok, off to fight fires.
TTFN,
Betsey
