My goal is a shorter time frame. I'm currently living in my dad's house. My goal is for me and my son to be in our own place within the next 12-18 months - whether my h is still in the picture or not is up to him.

My son already knows what he wants to study at college and I've started a college fund for him with a regular monthly contribution going into it. That's another thing that h wasn't in favour of - he always said that we had to pay for our own education, so should S13.
