It does sound like H wasn't too pleased with your late arrival. It may not be huge, but I think little stuff like that does make them think.
Glad to hear you are feeling better and singing!!! I hope you were singing in front of h. It is so hard to look pulled together and strong when your aching inside, but it sounds like you are doing a great job.
