My sympathies on the root canal - hope your dentist uses enough novacaine to adequately freeze your mouth. Root canals are unpleasant enough without still being able to feel the drilling - and yes that is personal experience from my one and only root canal (next time I'm having the tooth pulled instead of having a root canal done LOL).
