WR, His refusal to come into the home is a reminder of what he had. It reminds him that he had a good life, wife and family and yes, their were many happy times there. He can't face that reality right now. Just pack up all of his clothes and that way, he has no excuse for you to do any additional packing. BTW, the latest in luggage is the black trash bags and they are wonderful and you can get a whole lot of stuff in them. LOL!
Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
