So about those keys. As she was leaving, she asked about it again and said "I use that one to warm the car up." Aren't we glad I hadn't said something stupid about it?
Here's a couple funny WAS eccentricities. I've mentioned this one before, but we always shared a large soda at the movies. Well, since we started doing whatever it is we're doing now, when we go, we always get 2 medium drinks. Also, the women who NEVER closed the bathroom door unless things were really rocking and rolling - if you get my drift - now always closes it, no matter what business she's conducting in there.
Had another one of these moments, too. Just like with the rake, she wanted another snow shovel, because we have 2 each of different types. The choices were a sturdy metal one, and a very well worn plastic one. I started to hand her the plastic one, because she has a tiny driveway and a bit of sidewalk to shovel, where I have a way-too-long driveway to shovel. She said "no, the blue one..."
I still haven't read 5LL (I've skimmed it before) but I think she's definitely and Acts of Service woman. She LOVES to send me on errands, have me fetch her a drink, etc. She always asks nicely. She does offer to pick up things for me, too. Or to come over if I need the car. What a change from early summer, huh?!
She always asks after my health if there's anything going on, too. Not sure where that fits in, but it's nice.
Looks like we're having Thanksgiving here for 4 - us and two cats. One of those errands I mentioned was me going to get us dinner and picking up stuff for Thursday. I'm just making a turkey breast. And the fixin's of course.
