Thanks everyone I was at college today and one of the girls started on me again. It's always about them, they are always right not me! I was stood behind the door or rather squashed behind the door waiting to get into the salon. One of the girls knew the code to the room, so she squeezed her way forward and let everyone in. I was trying to get out of the way when one of the girls said well i would be able to get in if TTD got out of the way. We had a row about this and it made me feel down again. I spoke to the teaching asst and asked to go and see the mentor. The mentor said that it can't go on like this and she suggested that I ask the tutor if us three can have a mediation session to iron out our problems, which we are doing tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to it The girl said this morning to me that I'm always trying to make others feel sorry for me, which I'm not! She seems to have a massive chip on her shoulder and she's taking it out on me. Thank goodness it was a half day today I spent the afternoon in the library doing some work. I've now managed to do 2 pieces of work that was asked of me and I've not got much left to do now apart from revise for the exam coming up. These two girls seem to find everything easy and I struggle a bit and I feel that they are being superior. I'm just glad that one of them failed their health and safety, but the one who had a go at me today got 100%! It's no use doing a 180 because even if I keep myself to myself, they come and hunt me down. Rant over, lol. Bible study tonight, that always makes me feel better

It sounds like they've decided that they're going to target you no matter what you do. It's really tough when you're in that sitch, and you don't need the added stress.
If Bible study doesn't help enough, try a sitcom and a spritzer

Thanks for worrying LOL - I don't imbibe every night and when I do it is only about 1 unit as well so I'm ok . I've been pretty good lately - I've got an unopened bottle in the fridge which has been there at least a week. I did have a drink with dinner Saturday - after all H was paying for it .
My H says I've got catching up to do anyway as I was almost teetotal for years - maybe one or two glasses at Christmas or while on vacation. Not sure that is something you can carry over into future years LOL

And lately, I'd actually be more worried about the bad effects of chocolate on the body LOL . It's that time of year and there's so much of that gorgeous chocolate available......
In a couple of weeks I'll be making fudge and candy cane bark for my son's teacher gifts. The girls at work know I make fudge and a few have asked for some so I'm thinking of doing up small gift bags and that'll be my Christmas gift to them this year. We don't have an organized gift exchange at work but the admin staff usually do small gifts for each other.

Sounds yummy I was only kidding about your wine intake We women are allowed to drink 2-3 units a day anyway Just having a spritzer as we speak The builder never turned up Looks like I'll have to chase him up again tomorrow. Not a good start! He's a friend of our neighbours so he comes highly recommended anyway Have you ever done a secret santa? I suggested doing one at college, but one of the 2 girls immediately said "eurgh nooooo". Miserable so and so. I hope the mediation meeting goes well. I'm a bit worried that it might not go in my favour, but we'll have to see. I'll just have to go back to the mentor or the head of faculty if it doesn't.

We did a secret Santa at the last place I worked. It was fun. We actually set it up by having anyone who wanted to participate do a letter to Santa with a list of their particular likes and dislikes. At least everyone got something that they were likely to keep and not re-gift that way.
We talking about doing a cookie exchange this year, but one of the ladies is a miserable so and so and keeps coming with excuses why we couldn't do it.
