Just checking in with a brief update of last night.
For most of the night - Silence...we only "talked" because I was trying to settle a ticket issue for a hockey game this weekend other than that H wouldn't talk to me or answer my questions. "are you going to bed?: no answer..okay I guess it was obvious becuase H only brushes his teeth RIGHT before he goes to bed. H and S took a shower I was trying to watch the last seconds of a b-ball game and H demanded I get in there right away to dry son off...I said I'll be there. S was still in the shower anyway...H likes to be the boss of my time..
H took S iceskating at an outdoor rink last night. I went grocery shopping and shoveled the driveway. When I got home I asked H if he had taken son iceskating and H said "yes, for the last time". I asked why H said "he's a whiner just like you" I didn't respond. H "demands" things of our son whereas I try to talk to S and make S more comfortable when attempting difficult activities. H wants to know why I baby S? I don't quite know how to respond so didn't. I wanted to say "I am the mother" I mean that says it all right there doesn't it?
