Still chuckling this morning about the things you've said tiger, lol. wink

-----------------------
So last night, after I picked up S from his tech theater and we came home, H was there watching tv. He asked S if he was going to karate tonight and S said no he was too tired.

I made some dinner for S and I and S logged on to his computer and I sat on the couch and ate dinner. The time keeps passing and I noticed that H is not leaping off the couch to get ready to go to karate. I ask him if he is going to karate tonight. He kind of just shrugs and say 'Nah, not tonight'. I think hmmmmm.

He doesn't seem down per se, just kind of...ummm...spacey.

So I say 'Well it's nice to have you home.' He kind of looks at me briefly and shrugs again. Then I ask about his work day and he says he was cold all day. He works outside most days, looking at people's cars. I take the opportunity to walk over to where he is on the couch, I pick up his hand and kind of rub it like warming it up. I said 'well your hands don't feel cold'. He says 'well it's mostly my feet, toes'. I wanted to rub his footsies too, but didn't want to push the contact. He was kind of surprised by the hand touching. Didn't recoil, just a look of 'oh'.

So we are watching shows, talking 'normally' about things on tv. We watch the Big Bang Theory and get lots of laughs out of that.

Then he starts talking to me about work, (had to think on it I guess) about how they had a company lunch and it really sukked. They were told the company didn't have the allotment to do any company lunches, so the local company came up with their own funds. Apparently they didn't do a good job planning at all, had pizzas hastily made with maybe 5 pieces of pepperoni on each, then they bought salad stuff from store, only it was just lettuce with no other veggies in sight and then no salad dressing and they had nothing to drink.

They they had asked for feedback and H told them all of the above and said 'it sukked' on the form, lol. Apparently this was important to him because he gave me all the details!!!

Then he turned the tv to hockey and in the past, even though I like hockey, I would've left to do something else. I had my kindle and was looking at that off and on, but I just stayed there since he made the effort to stay home. I asked him things about the hockey and commented on a few good plays and fights.

Then about 9:30, S had already gone to bed an hour before, H started to yawn, got up and said 'Well I'm going to bed baby'.

Did he just say BABY??? OMG, I got a BABY. I don't think I have heard him call me Babe or Baby in a LONG time. In fact, I can't ever remember him calling me Baby.

I was a little stunned and had to shake my head, but I played it cool and said 'Yeah me too, I'm zoning out on hockey'.

Sigh, Baby.

We'll see how our 'date' to the school play goes tonight. smile No expectations, Baby!!!!!!!!!!!!
