ok, first of all, your dream was funny and scary, all at the same time!

I had some really weird dreams for awhile, but they've mostly stopped now. I am resting better than I have in several weeks.

I know what you mean by those phrases that seem to be triggers....really reminds me of the teenage boys I teach...tell them something and they want to do the opposite always...just because.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is "kinda" glad when H isn't home. I can just chill and relax more if I'm not having to tiptoe around his MLC eggshells.

Anyway, I agree with Pud. Definitely do something for yourself and enjoy the peace and quiet!

Hang in there. You are being so strong...you are really helping me examine my own stuff better.

Tigerlily, thanks for your support on my thread. I don’t know about the kittens dream, seems strange. But I had to laugh at your dream about OW in a car accident.

I’m still trying to catch up on your sitch. So, your H lives at home (some nights), but he also stays at OW’s?

No problem Bright, I am so glad to have the opportunity to lend strength to others too, even if I am still a total newb, I think I am quick on the uptake. smile

My H basically spends all nights at OW's now (for the past 2 weeks). The last night he slept here was the night the OW finally read my facebook message, and I guess she needed 24 hours to process and then build her world of denial. He slept in our bed, we spooned. :P

He comes here in the mornings to get showered and ready for work. He often comes home for lunch, but not always. He "works from home here" some weekdays, eats dinner here about 50% of the time. He goes skating early some days, otherwise he is here for most evenings, but always ends up leaving by around 9pm to go to OW's. His OW works as a 911 operator, so she works 12 hour shifts and doesn't get off work until 7pm. She also has a part time job as one of the skating places here.

Update: He ended up coming home around 4pm, I was out at the mailbox getting the mail when he pulled up. He briskly walked in the door and said, "I have to go upstairs to work." It is kind of silly that he even came home. I guess he needed to change clothes... but it is clear to me he was logged into his home computer today from OW's, so he was working remotely from there. He didn't really need to come here.

I did end up making him dinner, even though days ago he told me he would NOT be here for dinner tonight. I was making tacos, so there was plenty, I didn't change anything to accommodate his change.

I managed to ask if he knew he was not going to come home this morning when last night I said I would see him in the morning. Did he intentionally withhold his plans from me? He said no he didn't, his plans just changed. I didn't ask for more details. (makes me wonder if plans changed because he was burnt out and needed to not drive back here this morning, or if OW blew off her work or had the day off, or if it was just a subconscious thing because he needed to be away from me).

He told me my breath smelled bad! I apologized and said I ate peanut butter this afternoon and hadn't brushed my teeth yet since then and added that I hadn't planned on seeing, that I didn't expect he'd be coming back at all today. He said he wasn't trying to be rude, just trying to let me know not to breathe so much (wtf? I was standing like 4 feet away, I know he has a really good sense of smell, but it wasn't like I was hanging on him and breathing in his face!).

I let it roll off my back. I said he must be extra aware of all my bad smells now after living in a world full of cologne and perfume and axe body spray and febreeze. :P (ok, I should not have said that!!!)

He said, "I find you a lot more attractive when you don't talk for some reason." I said, "Wow. Clearly you would rather be alone right now, so I am going to give you what you want." And then I left.

I certainly could have replied that I find him more attractive when he isn't banging an emotionally damaged skank, but SEE? I AM learning self control and filtering my words!

So I guess he came home for a shower and change of clothes AND to push my buttons.

Will be interesting to see what he ends up doing tomorrow. Usually he works from home Friday afternoons, but since he worked remotely from OW's all day today he might have to spend the day at work.

The guy says "Yes, I do want you to wait for me." And then dials way back on the charm. If I didn't know this was a well established MLC pattern it would sure confuse me.

Amazing self control.

Can't help but think to myself, how fun it would be to begin "staging" the house. What if he came home to find two wine glasses with the last little dregs of red wine, out on the back porch? (Or some similar romantic location).

What if there were a dozen red roses on the dining table (if he asks, just say "oh, a friend sent them. Who? Oh, you don't know them."

What if you had sexy new Victoria's Secret bra and undies hanging up to dry in the bathroom?

wink

Also, one would think they would do much better psychological screenings for jobs like 911 operators, but apparently not.
