Still Have Hope.....

This past Friday, two days after the divorce, my W text me and asked me to call her. I called her and she said that her washing machine was not working and was wondering if I could take a look at it. She was very apologetic about asking me to do anything for her but she said that she simply could not afford to replace it and she knows how handy I am. I told it I was glad she called and could come by Saturday am and take a look.
I showed up with tools in hand and ended up having to take her washing machine completely apart to fix it. Spent about 2-3 hours there. Had a chance to chat with her and see her boys. I got it fixed and then said good bye to the boys and she walked me out. She thanked me and gave me a hug.

She text me later and said that she had just used the washer and it worked great and thank you thank you thank you!!! I responded "Great! It was good to see you and the boys...”

That was the last time I have communicated with her. I tend to be the one to initiate contact and that is how it was the first time she left. When she came back she said that was one of the reasons she came back was because I did not give up on her but now with the divorce being final maybe I should just let her go. I have text her maybe once a week for the last few months with the generic "happy Friday hope you have a good weekend" kind of thing. She always responds with something similar. Kind of feel like if I stop contacting her at all then she will simply be gone.
