Touche, Wii. Right there with ya. Right now, I'm just trying to be happy exactly where I am. A couple of clients are making that difficult, but oh well. I'm still standing...
Barb - that SNL skit certainly was hilarious. I loved the press conferences. LOL. They've always had a knack for making the irreverent even more so.
Golf Girl - Awesome! Heck, send me your profile so I know what to say in January if I go back on. I'm so happy for you!
BA - Glad you and your ESFJ self got out there this weekend. My ESTJ self holed up pretty much all weekend (except for D16's hippotherapy on Saturday afternoon and dinner with a friend Saturday night) and watched volleyball - and the Broncos game, of course. And I feel no guilt whatsoever. I even got fed up at work on Friday, called it quits and went home to watch the first round of the D3 volleyball matches.
D19's team kind of got out of their game yesterday after losing the first set that they should have won (they were up the entire set until the 26th point). It necessitated me to break out the first Coors Light, shortly after 1 pm. That's pretty early for me nowadays. I finished the 2nd and last beer by 2:15. But I'm happy to report they are heading to the Elite 8 in Holland, Michigan, for the 2nd year in a row. Whew! I had no idea that my daughter's sport would bring me to imbibe in a super cold Coors Light (hey, they have temperature indicators on the labels now).
Since I can't get to Michigan this weekend, I had to rearrange my schedule so I can watch the live stream. I'm moving stuff around left and right to make sure my a$$ is in front of a computer at the right time.
Anyone want to change their opinion of a loser?
Gineen - BTW, I'm also right there with you on the getting fit/being naked thing. Like you, I have a real fondness for chocolate chip cookies (and dough), especially when there's zero chance of someone seeing my fat arse without clothes. It's also why I bought my FitBit. I've become a little lax, but only because Mr. W. has been traveling and my ability to walk while having D16 has been severely curtailed. I've been walking at lunch, but it just isn't the same as one of my hour sprints. I'm missing it.
BA, looks like it's time to start a new thread... now, what should the title be?
Okay, back to work. I'm a day late and a dollar short already.
