Alright - I retract the "loser" from this thread. It wasn't serious and I certainly did not mean to imply doing stuff by yourself means you are one. Over the last 5 years I have certainly done the same amount if not more things on my own than I have with someone else (either on a date or with just a friend). I think last night was a initially a bit different for me in that it was supposed to have been a date with Barbara (at least that was the plan) so I was dealing a little bit with that. In fact I was almost inclined not to go, but decided that I really wanted to hear this performance and I would have a good time going even if by myself - which I did.
I am more of an extrovert (ESFJ is my MBTI) and enjoy the company of others. So while I am perfectly capable of doing things on my own, for me - I tend to enjoy doing things with someone versus by myself. On that note, I'm heading to the CAPs game tonight with Marianne. So I should be happy that I've had the best of both worlds this weekend - something done on my own and an outing with a friend.
Gineen - it sounds like 2014 is going to be your year to get finances and hopefully your love life in order! I hope to join you, at least in getting my love life in order. I'm ready for the permanent relationship, it just has to be with the right person and that will happen.
