S12's end of season football get together is tomorrow night. Fun with friends. Pizza buffet is always good. I think I'll have a good rest after the race in the morning to prepare for a big meal in the evening. May catch a nap while watching some college football. S12 and I have our eye on a couple of games tomorrow. Sat in the rain and watched HS football tonight. Gonna have fun tomorrow. That's the bottom line. BTW, when I tucked S10 into bed tonight, he kissed me on the cheek and whispered really sweetly, "I'm gonna beat you tomorrow." I love being a dad.

No greater feeling, that. You know, J, I get how sometimes you are amazed at some of her actions. But you cant really know what her mindset is.
So, it is best to concentrate on the wonderful things in your life. And the most loving thing you can do for her is to not judge her, have compassion, take care of your children, and live your life.
It sounds like a wonderful day tomorrow. Savor every minute. It goes by so fast. My baby is going to be 23 in a few days. How I wish he was still 10 or 12.
Although it is a different kind of relationship between him and I. Still incredibly amazing. Especially when I get the kiss on the cheek.
You really are doing wonderfully. Dont stop. Continue to do the work. Keep growing. And keep your wife im your prayers.

Fundraiser for our local YMCA. All the schools in the county have kids go through a training program after school if they are going to run. Lots of kids and parents along with the really serious runners that always turn out. Pretty big deal in our little town.

You always put in perspective. Thanks friend. We finished a little while ago. S12 ran a great time, earned 3rd in his age group. S10 ran well, too. I finished in under 30 minutes. That was my goal. Monumental moment for me. I love the new happy me. 1 year ago at this race I stood around and didn't participate. BD day may have turned my life upside down, but I wouldn't trade it for anything right now. Bursting with pride and fulfillment today. Trying not to let it overwhelm me in public.
