Tad, I can only share w/you that my father was like that for several weeks before he passed. He was angry and snap at everyone and he wanted to be independent and do things his way.
Have you spoken to her doctor about this? It might be a reaction to the morphine or some of her other meds.
Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
