Sunday is the 1 year anniversary of when Marianne and I first met. I am considering sending her an arrangement of purple flowers (her favorite color) with the following note: "M, One year ago I met a wonderful and awesome woman - you! Although our relationship did not work out as hoped, I am so happy to have met you and that you remain a part of my life. Best always, D."
My intentions are to simply let her know that this day remains important to me, she remains important to me and that I appreciate her as a friend. So I'm hoping that you folks looking at this through unfiltered eyes can either validate this or let me know that it is crossing a line and not a good idea.
