Unfortunately DB'ing doesn't always stop the D in its tracks. The same thing happened to me, my W didn't mention the D for 6+ months, then out of the blue one day she informed me she had hired a lawyer because she was too lazy (her words) to do the paperwork herself. She told me she would bring the papers to me the next week, and that was over 2 months ago and I still don't have them. So hang in there, even though he's talking about it again he may not act on those words.
That's good news about the job meeting, Mimi. Sorry to hear that your H jumped right into D talks though when he called. Isn't it so weird how in one sentence they are talking about divorcing and the next sentence asking how everything is going in your life?
