Wait... I thought this was the DIY/decluttering forum. Crud. No wonder they've been getting tired of my posts about my marital woes over on the DIY forums! Had them mixed up. wink laugh

Sometimes resembles a food/drink forum, too. whistle

Yeah, it's a nuthouse! (Says a nut). cool

We need to inject some fun into all three of our threads. There's just way too much decluttering/reorganizing going on. How am I supposed to reach the PMA of that glow worm if we don't have fun in our threads LOL smile .

And I'm really going to need that PMA this week. My friend who could really use this forum lost her dad on the weekend and a group of us from the office will be attending the visitation tomorrow and funeral on Wednesday. Not going to be much PMA around there frown .

Inject fun? It's called WINE. haha.

Anyhoo, so sorry to hear about your friend. It all seems to hit at once that's for sure. I'm sending my best thoughts out to your friend to wish her peace.

Thanks Pud.

Hmmm, I'm sure I've got a bottle or two of fun round here (my dad makes his own so he's got a mini wine cellar) - may even have one in the fridge chilling already LOL smile .

Maybe now she's not worrying about her dad I'll be able to talk her into joining this forum. It was good to see that her H actually stepped up to the plate today and was in attendance at the visitation, and was even standing with her the whole time.

I'll be opening my bottle of fun, as Pud called it, later. If I wait til closer to bedtime it seems to help me sleep better smile . This one isn't homemade though so I don't know what it's like - think its one I bought for last Christmas but never drank because of BD making me feel more like throwing up than drinking.

Anyway, back to the fun stuff grin . Found a new comedy last night I hadn't seen before - Gimme Gimme Gimme (I think that's the name) - we were looking for some "funnies" as my son calls them to watch and I came across it. We've just had the new series of Mrs Brown's Boys start on BBC Canada but unfortunately that's not one of the channels included in my cable package so I'll have to wait until it makes it to YouTube.

gimme gimme gimme is good, but not one of my faves as I never really got into that one. It's a shame you can't get Mrs Brown's boys frown
Enjoy your bottle of fun later tonight smile I'm off to bed soon as I'm up late again!

The bottle of fun wasn't very nice - won't be buying that one again. But I did sleep well so I guess it had its benefits smile.

H forgot to take his parade boots with him on Sunday and he needs them on Remembrance Day so he had arranged to come back to the house after his meeting to collect them along with his work clothes that he left there when he changed into his suit for his meeting. What wasn't planned was him staying until well past 11 and just talking.

Once again he must have gotten too comfortable because he had to make a comment about my dad being "the reason we have no future together for now". I will give him credit for the fact that OW texted him a couple of times asking if he was finished his meeting and he ignored her each time, but he did manage to bring her into the conversation at one point as well. One of the restaurant chains here has a Remembrance Day offer where serving military members and veterans get a free dinner on Remembrance Day if they show ID, and most years we’ve taken them up on that offer. H made a point of telling me that he was going and that he’d have company. My response was simply “We weren’t planning on going”. Although my dad is a veteran and would have eaten free, we weren’t going anyway due to cash flow so it's not a case of me changing plans because OW is going to be there.
