Way to go. I still let W get the last word in on conversations too often.

My H always used to say that I HAD to have the last word, lol. Just come back from my murder mystery night at one of our local Churches. It was very good, I got to play a character and thankfully I wasn't the murderer smile At one point in the evening, I actually started thinking that maybe I am the murderer, lol. It wasn't in my script though smile

Glad you enjoyed your evening.

My H is the type who always has to have the last word. Even when texting he'll respond with "K" even if not needed just so he gets the last word in.

I've stopped replying to his texts now unless I really need to. I had a strange conversation with him the other night, he asked if I'd got the text he sent, to which I replied yes but I ignored it, he then went on about how he'd received a totally different text about his post from me and why did I send it as an imessage, lol. I think he's going loopy smile Actually change that, he's gone loopy, lol.
Got a busy day today - I'm off to the children's activity club at the Church then off to pick up my son smile We're then going to have some lunch and I've got to be back at 3pm as I've got a support worked coming round. The doc results will have to wait until tomorrow I'm afraid! Oh yes and I'm off out tonight to a social club at the Church smile

Good work on that. Keep it up. Wish I could do the same, but I haven't mastered the knack of ignoring his texts yet. I do try to leave my phone where I can't hear it LOL - at least then I can say I didn't see the message and didn't hear the phone ping when it came in.

Sounds like you're doing well at keeping busy. Good job that college work isn't due next week smile

Yes it is a good job smile If the tutor says anything, then I'll just tell her I've had a lot on. She can't really moan about that! I'm off to see my mentor on Monday afternoon, so I'll be able to tell her that I've been struggling lately smile Apparently if you're under a mentor, then it goes on your notes that go out to the tutors so they are aware of it as well.

Got my son back today shattered after his few days residential smile The youth leader rang me at 12 to say they were back, but I wasn't expecting him back until 1pm. I tried to ring H, but as usual he wasn't answering his phone! So I got to the youth centre at 1pm, blinking mixed messages!
We went for some lunch at a supermarket nearby before we made our way home, as it was getting late. Bloomin typical, H rang me back whilst we were having our lunch. I said it doesn't matter now as I've picked my son up! He asked me if he'd had a good time, so I said I'll just pass you over. He had a chat with my son and then my son passed the phone back to say bye as he was about to have his lunch.
Got back in time for a support worker who is now more of a friend and we normally chat about this and that smile I don't see her that often so it was nice to catch up and she's given me some good advice about going to the advice centre smile
The evening went ok as well, my friend picked us up and we went to this meeting. There were 2 speakers on that night and then some sandwiches and cakes as it was the last night of the year smile
Back up to the other town tomorrow to drop off my son, I'm hoping to get my blood tests tomorrow. I've not had time to ring up and I want to be around in case they need me to come into the surgery. I can't believe it's Friday tomorrow already and I'm back at college on Monday!

Good luck with the blood tests. I'm sure everything will be fine.

Enjoy your last day of school break smile!

My test results came back clear smile The doc said if this happens then I've got to make another appt with him, so I'll do that on one of my days off next week.
I texted H to let him know that my tests were ok and he rang me back straight away. He seemed concerned and said well if it's not that, then what is it? I told him I'll have to go back to the docs next week.
My last day went ok, but I've been out all day so I'm tired now. I dropped my son off at his project this morning in another town and then went back to my town, but didn't go home as it wasn't worth it. Got a few Christmas bits from the bargain shop today smile It's amazing what you can get for so little amount of money smile I'm determined to spend each day from now on doing something for Christmas every day smile I bought a magazine today that has lots of lovely homemade ideas to make smile

I'm not taking anything for granted with H as I know he's only being nice because he thinks he's getting half the house! It's been rainy and cold most of the day, but I'm back home now with the heating on so hopefully I'll warm up soon smile
