Raine, This is the hardest part of the journey when they are home and reconnecting. You want to push and prod and rush the process, but you can't. You'll scare the fragile child back into the rabbit hole and it will take far longer for your little bunny to come out again.
Continue to drop the crumbs of friendship and allow him to gobble them up. The more you can relax around him and just go w/the flow and follow his lead, the better. Patience and more patience are needed when you get to this point in the crisis.

Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
