Surprise, surprise - H just called to cancel tonight. I'm actually glad as he didn't sound like he was in a good mood and I don't want him round here moping and miserable. He says he'll be over tomorrow night to pack - we'll believe that when it happens LOL.

Oh well, guess S13 and I will have to fill in the time watching Jeff Dunham on Youtube instead laugh . S13 isn't staying up late tonight - he was home from school today sick. I'm pretty sure he's just burned himself out - too many late nights, early mornings, long bike ride with his Dad on Sunday and fitness testing at Cadets last night.

sounds like he did just burn himself out. That's what happened to my son one time when H had him over. He'd had a late night and was tired the next day. Hopefully he won't come back too tired on Thursday smile
I like it when my H decides to cancel. Although I feel annoyed that he should be around for his son, it's still less stressful than when he's here smile

My son was perfectly fine this morning and went off to school with no hesitation. He spent half the day in bed asleep yesterday so I'm pretty sure he was just burned out.

Now it's just to see how H is tonight when, or if, he turns up to pack. He did text this morning saying that he remembered to take something he'd picked up for our son to work with him so he'll have it for him tonight.

Let's hope he turns up smile I was thinking he could be stalling taking things with him as he might want to come back home, going on what he's been saying to you.

I'm starting to get a vibe that your H has a problem with your dad. shocked I'm slow, but I catch on.

Sorry, trying to inject a little humor as I continue my post-vacation recovery. crazy
