OMG they take themselves so seriously. A real sense of humour bypass as well as empathy.

Ummmm...yes. Yes he does. We have bottles and jars of hair gel, paste, glue, etc. And heaven forbid S uses H's gel. Oh no.
When we were "together" H was not picky at all about his hair gel. I bought the cheap stuff. Now he goes to the "beauty parlor" and gets the fancy stuff. The man who would never be caught DEAD in a salon now goes on a regular basis. He's a real fancy man now.
Old H is dead. New and "improved" H has taken over. UGH!
