Never mind that Renew, LL be darned. Isn't Words of Affirmation tops for all men. Sort of above the list.

I agree that I think men need to know they can please their woman, and telling him so is vitally important.

I did tell him that he could come over, but he always says that he has to do this or that Maybe I'll make dinner for him, tell him to come over after dance on tues for an invite to dinner on Wed. "be the first to tip the domino" I read that somewhere. I stop by the house last night, my night anyway and I asked him if there was anything I could get him "ginger ale, tea, or me"? He just looked at me. I'm always giving him praise, ever since the d and before, I would send him cards, sometimes for no reason, just hey ILU, he never was very good at being lovey dovey. I always telling him what a great dad he is, you look great in that shirt, have you lost weight. I lsot ten pounds and haven't heard a peep! Must I do everything?! I'm letting the not calling me thing go, but It does frustrate me. He suggested that we go back to c and try again and he doesn't seem to be showing me that he is trying

You are so wise, Anitasues, I hesitate to ask you this. But, does he tell you and you are missing it? I know my H did things with actions that I never realized before discovering DB. The flash in his eyes, the slight, ever so slight raise of an eyebrow, many small clues to say what he doesn't verbalize.

CAn you really have an open and honest convo about what you need? Are you just a little frustrated because he isn't ready to jump in the sack? Besides that are you satisfied?

I think I'm going to wait for a c session before I speak to him about what I need. I have always wanted it more than him since the beginning. He is not very physical. I just firgured that now we are supposed to be building our marriage again and that things are supposed to be different but better and stronger and we really aren't heading in any direction. But if a man wants to get back with his w, I know I shouldn't assume, but I figured I would at least get a pat on the back or something to let me know that he is attracted to me. I will always touch his shoulder of sometimes I pretend that he has something on his back and brush it off or your hair sticking up and let me fix it. maybe I'm just horn y

Nothing, I'm telling ya-NOTHING! I fact the other day I was actually jealous of my own d! We were all in the kitchen and he threw a kitchen dish towel at her and she through it back at him and they were going back and fourth, then he took the towel and snapped it at her, I figured since I'm standing there--snaped me! They were teasing eachother and I felt like the third wheel! I made at comment that they were acting like h and w but they didn't say anything. My d will catch me making eyes at h and say mom thats grouse (teenagers)

You will never believe it--I got to hug exh yesterday!! I think he didn't know what hit him. Our d was at a dance competition and he can in late--2 mins before d went on stage, I saw him in the crowd and greeted him. I told him that both of us were glad that he came and I thanked him for coming--he has a really bad cold then I asked if I could hug him and he nodded yes, so I gave the big guy a big squeeze! So I guess that's something, and d won the elite gold, so she has qualified to go to Nationals which is in Maryland, so the 3 of us will be going to Maryland in July.

Anitasues, congratulations to your d. That is wonderful!

I know what you mean about feeling jealous. Of course, it is different with me as they are stepchildren. However, H never showed love to them before and now he is loving them like crazy, kissing, hugging, smiling at them. All at the same time he stopped doing the same with me.

I hate myself for it, but sometimes I feel jealous.

I guess it's normal. My mom did the same with me and my dad. My uncle used to say "you can only have one queen in a castle." In reference to me and my mom - because I had become a teenager and therefore was no longer a "little princess."
