Not sure how short I should go and what color or should i just get highlights put in.right now my hair is a little passed my shoulders. My MIL said that I should just trim my hair and put in highlights only not to go all out like how I dreamed of. I had a dream last night that I had my hair cut like miley Cyrus. And MIL said no way; that H likes long hair not short hair but I'm doing this for me not for him.
You are right - you are doing this for you, not your H. My H is the same, likes long hair. I grew mine long for him despite the fact that I prefer to wear it short, and where did that get me - option B. After he moved out I went and had mine cut in a style similar to Jamie Lee Curtis. H told me more than once that he doesn't like and you know what, that just made me like it even more. I have also coloured my hair in the past as he didn't like the increasing grey highlights. I don't like the effect colouring has on my hair - brittle and really dry and falling out. This time I didn't bother to colour, and did a Jamie Lee Curtis on that as well - she doesn't colour her hair and neither do several other well known Hollywood types.
Decide what you want and do it! Please yourself, not anyone else.
As to your feelings about your H, you are right. You're likely to change your mind several times. I know I have. Don't rush into anything. IMO, he's the one that left, let him file (and have the expense). It's what I fully intend to do - and I've told my H that if he wants the M to be over then its up to him to do it as I won't.
Enjoy your vacation. Make sure you get some "me" time. Keep up your GALing as well. The vacation should do wonders for your PMA.

Today is my 1st day of vacation and I went and got step one down I still have 2 more steps to go. My 1st step I did I got my nails done today spent more then what I wanted to but it came out really nice. Step 2 is getting my hair cut and maybe color depending how much that cost? I will do that sometime next month and step 3 is to get a new clothes for work and for home i should start getting more hours at work now since the holidays are coming really fast. But I also have to remember that I need to put some money off to the side so that I will have money for after the holiday season in case my hours get cut down again.

Last night my 13 yr old had his first band concert for this school year. And H showed up and sat next to me I'm surprised that he did not bring OW with him. Any way he had noticed that I had gotten my nails done and he said that it looked good and he liked it. Other then that my 13yr old and his classmates did really good last night they are getting better as a middle school band.

My boys had fun at the haunted corn fields last night even though my 9yr had me close his eyes in all three attractions. And my MIL just cracked me up though out the whole thing too. I had never laughed so much lately; it was a good night for all except it was super cold being out in the corn field.
